With a profound passion for the shipping industry, I started my career as a deck officer sailing aboard different types of vessels such as bulk carriers, oil tankers, chemical tankers. At sea I gained invaluable years of hands-on expertise in vessel operations, navigation, maritime safety, cargo handling and stowage, etc.

About a decade back, I have successfully transitioned to shore into commercial shipping after completing my Masters in Shipping and Logistics Management, where I now focus on optimizing freight, ship chartering, vessel operations, laytime and demurrage claims settlement and improving operational efficiency in the global shipping industry. 

Having worked across various stakeholders of the maritime industry, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of international trade, commercial shipping, ship chartering, vessel operations and the vital role each stakeholder plays in the overall success of the international trade operations.

During the last 2 decades, I have gained a holistic perspective of the shipping industry and this experience has nurtured my ability to navigate multifaceted challenges, prioritize tasks and streamline operations for optimal efficiency and profitability.
